Yeap. I noe I haf abandoned my blog for a long time. No need to be reminded! ( u noe who u are.. *bleh*) Been super duper bz trying to be a GUUUD law student, studying and what not. So I can't be blamed!!! My abandonment is for a valid and good reason albeit only a SUBSTANTIALLY truthful one...=P
Thing is, haven't been very inspired to blog lately..if u cld see the list of unfinished posts I haf u'd get wad I mean. Loadsa ideas but unsure of how to potray them or a disruption in the flow of inspiration. sigh... the things bloggers hafta go thru.
But no matter how crappy this post may turn out, I ABSOLUTELY hafta blog abt this.

Today, we witnessed the impossible. History in the making.
*gasp* Kat's first attempt at CS!!!! was goin to wait for my A.KAT post to put this..but i simply couldn't contain myself! No Cam tricks here. Dis is the real deal, this pic is evid , Ms Comp illeterate-still using diskette-was excited when she finally managed to log into her email acc, seen here looking extremely enthusiastic about her first CS experience. Unaware of what lay ahead...of course wtv surprises were in store for her was only to our detriment. Wat ensued in her hr of CS-ing, was fairly predictable. Complete with screaming n hand slapping of neighbouring gamers. Inevitably we had to cover our faces to avoid the stares from other gamers who thought she was really being murdered...*rolls eyes*
While the hr was pure torture to our ears...Kat was jumping for joy and declared " I killed Nic!!!!". Knew we would never hear the end of it, but heck, after an hr of a killing drought...I guess she deserves to be over-the-top excited abt her only 'victim'. =D

Well..it wasn't just a first for Kat, it was also a first for me n Rissa. We had time to kill, so we thought, why not?
Though it really didn't seem like it was Rissa's first attempt at CS cos she was soo darn good!!!

Always wondered why this game was soo appealing to those who come across it. So I thought I'd jus give my 2 cents worth here.
Game: Counter- Strike
Objective: As a player, ure either a terrorist or a counter-terrorist. The terrorist has 4 mins to plant a bomb and as the counter-terrorist you hafta stop them from doing so. Not quite sure how it works...but dats the storyline given to me. As far as I'm concerned, I'm supposed to kill as many ppl from the other side as possible.
Verdict: I must confess..aside from the troublesome mouse ctrl, I reaally enjoyed the game!! The 'killing' bit was REALLY fun, it's sooo fulfilling when you get to 'kill'..(sound like some psycopath but u get d point.) It sure sucked how often I got killed...but hey. I 'killed' Nic too!!! and more than once..teehee...will prob wanna play it again!!
After CS we went for a mini futsal match organised by the law society. With the hectic Yr 2 schedule rearing it's ugly head...it was refreshing to be doin summin other than being buried in piles of books.

My 2nd attempt at futsal was certainly unlike the first! besides witnessing more injuries and chaos..I honestly didn't enjoy it as much as I did the first time and I sure noe why! So my opinion of this game remains unwavered! Had fun anyhoo! even though it was jus 15mins in a court filled with screaming girls.... =)
