Start of the yr n my reso to update my blog more often is down the drain. I totally noe i'm guilty..my last post was like in 2006? sad. But dere haf been just too many hindrances...

Newaysies...here's my 1st post of 2007!! ^^

Sometimes I feel life is too short for us to be still stuck in the past. Those who know me better would probably think I’m being a hypocrite. Yes, it is no secret that I still care a lot about who I used to be. But I try not to be affected too much by it. We can’t deny our past. Good or bad, it makes us who we are. I’m not here to say, deny our past. I’m here to say, let’s not be too hung up on it.
In the process of being too wrapped up in ur past, you will miss out on the present and risk what could lay ahead. Carpe Diem. Seize the day. Enjoy every moment u haf, savour the good and learn from the bad. The way society is ran, it is impossible to apply it in it's full capacity. But we could always do wat we can. Apply it in in every small possible way, the difference could be surprising.

As if in the spirit of Carpe Diem. Upon the arrival of 2007 aside from the usual resos, I welcomed an unexpected reso. It just popped into my head. Nothing fancy, but yet so meaningful. I wasn’t contemplating resolutions for the year, heck I hardly even kept to my resos anyways. (Mb it’s human nature, procrastination our worst enemy..sigh..)

To be happy.

Dat’s it.This yr I want to be as happy as I can be.My subconscious mind is probably dropping a hint, dat I may not be enjoying myself as much as I think I am. So far the thought of being happy for the entire yr, has been settling quite well with me. Mb it’s everything that I’ve been through last yr, I’m jus too tired and fed up of being upset. Jus the thought of feeling despondent disgusts me. I hate conflict, confrontation, distress, anger and hatred.

Hence. As of January 1st 2007, I'm determined to be a happy chappy! No more getting upset over unnecessary things and to enjoy life to the max, or at least AS MUCH as I can. Wad with yr 2 coming to an end and all, much of the joy has been out the window before the yr even began! >.<

With ppl like these around...make my reso relatively easier to keep..heehee
